About This Role

As a Manager Experience Researcher for Deloitte DT-US Product Engineering team, you will strategically design, plan, and execute user research studies to drive design decisions and user experience priorities for creating products & solutions for various business units.

Responsibilities

  • Define research strategy, design, and execute research studies effectively
  • Provide user research expertise and execution across products in a cross-functional environment
  • Develop appropriate research methodologies and test plans for products, employing innovative approaches
  • Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative methods to generate actionable insights
  • Conduct internal cross-functional workshops using design-thinking methodologies to drive collaboration
  • Synthesize research results into usable assets and translate them into valuable design opportunities
  • Collaborate with empowered product teams to define success metrics from both qualitative and quantitative perspectives
  • Connect the entire product team with users through communication of user research results
  • Develop a systematic approach to collecting, sharing, and communicating research insights with product teams
  • Use research insights to inform product strategy and uncover new opportunities based on user needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Psychology, Experimental Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience conducting comprehensive research across multiple methodologies
  • Minimum 1 year of experience leading research initiatives and coordinating efforts among a team of researchers
  • Demonstrated experience developing/utilizing user research methodologies (focus groups, ethnography, concept validation, usability testing, card sorting, surveys, mobile testing)
  • Demonstrated experience developing creative, strategic research plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Psychology, Experimental Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of conducting comprehensive research across multiple methodologies, driving actionable insights that shape product development and customer success; Minimum of 1 year of experience leading research initiatives and coordinating efforts among a team of researchers.
