This position manages and leads a team of professionals to support enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives. The role involves strategic planning, analysis, process/project management development, system support, and managing complex negotiations with third parties.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of professionals in support of enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives
- Perform corporate strategic planning, analysis, and process/project management development
- Provide system support for sourcing activities
- Create and implement effective short and long-term sourcing strategies
- Manage complex negotiations with third parties
- Create long and short-term strategies that align with corporate goals and produce cost-effective solutions
- Develop professionals and foster an innovative and effective organization
Requirements
- 5+ years professional business experience in analytical/quantitative sourcing activities
- Experience across multiple complex categories, including program or project management roles
- Proven leadership experience
- Outstanding human relations, negotiating and communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with senior leadership
- Excellent analytical, process/project management skills
- Ability to innovate and produce high quality results and sourcing solutions across multiple categories consistently
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in supply chain, business, finance, mathematics or other quantitative discipline
- Five (5) years professional business experience in analytical/quantitative sourcing activities across multiple complex categories, including program or project management roles. Proven leadership experience.

- High emotional intelligence, analytical, interpersonal, & communication skills
- Financial acumen & Total Cost of Ownership understanding
- Ability to synthesize info from disparate sources
- Deep knowledge of global facilities and security supplier markets / industries
- Professional exempt experience in category management or contract/supplier management
