Manager Sourcing

About This Role

This position manages and leads a team of professionals to support enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives. The role involves strategic planning, analysis, process/project management development, system support, and managing complex negotiations with third parties.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of professionals in support of enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives
• Perform corporate strategic planning, analysis, and process/project management development
• Provide system support for sourcing activities
• Create and implement effective short and long-term sourcing strategies
• Manage complex negotiations with third parties
• Create long and short-term strategies that align with corporate goals and produce cost-effective solutions
• Develop professionals and foster an innovative and effective organization

Requirements

• 5+ years professional business experience in analytical/quantitative sourcing activities
• Experience across multiple complex categories, including program or project management roles
• Proven leadership experience
• Outstanding human relations, negotiating and communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with senior leadership
• Excellent analytical, process/project management skills
• Ability to innovate and produce high quality results and sourcing solutions across multiple categories consistently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in supply chain, business, finance, mathematics or other quantitative discipline
• Five (5) years professional business experience in analytical/quantitative sourcing activities across multiple complex categories, including program or project management roles. Proven leadership experience.
