About This Role

This role involves leading a team of cost management professionals within the Strike Division, focusing on financial planning, reporting, cost and schedule performance, earned value, risk, and opportunity management. This position supports the program enterprise and ensures compliance with internal and external policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage staffing needs, including hiring, training, developing employees, assigning work scope, and providing daily direction
  • Collaborate across other functional teams to ensure the success of program priorities
  • Interface with internal and external customers including sector/division/program leadership, government customers, and auditing agencies
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and management of program budgets
  • Maintain compliance to internal and external policies and procedures (e.g. ANSI/EIA-748 32 guidelines, FAR, SOX)
  • Assist in financial planning/reporting/analysis, including profitability assessments, financial forecasting, and cash management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 9+ years of Business Management work experience (7+ years with a Master's degree)
  • Prior managerial experience
  • Aerospace industry experience with ANSI/EIA-748 Earned Value Management (EVM) guidelines
  • Working knowledge of EVM systems (Cobra, MPM, wInsight, or similar)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word applications
  • Active DoD secret clearance and ability to obtain program access clearance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • At least 9 years of Business Management work experience or 7 years with a Master’s degree

Nice to Have

  • 10+ years Business Management work experience
  • MBA or other related master’s degree
  • Familiarity with cost and schedule management processes and tools
  • Advanced ability in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word applications
  • Experience developing and presenting business strategies, financial information, and risk assessments
  • Experience interfacing with government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, and accounting auditing agencies such as Deloitte
  • Experience utilizing SAP, Hyperion (or related financial software), MPM/Cobra, and wInsight
  • Current DoD Top Secret Clearance
