Manager, Operations

About This Role

Supervise the repair and overhaul process for helicopter engines and accessories for Safran Helicopter Engines USA. This role involves organizational planning, performance monitoring, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is a priority in all operations
• Coordinate and implement training for assigned employees
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and drive action plans for improvement
• Review performance and conduct evaluations for assigned personnel
• Track and control the output/throughput volume of assets through the shop
• Ensure priorities set by the Master Schedule are met and issues are escalated
• Communicate and measure shop and personnel performance regarding Quality, Cost, and Delivery
• Measure, track, and improve efficiencies of assigned personnel
• Responsible for preventative maintenance schedule on all shop equipment
• Ensure 5S / cleanliness of shop and all workstations
• Support and implement all Safran HE and FAA rules and regulations

Requirements

• Power Plant license required
• 2-5 years of related experience
• Intermediate Level Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to access ITAR and/or EAR controlled information (U.S. person or meet eligibility for export-controlled info)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university preferred
• Two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Airframe license desired
