About This Role

This role involves overseeing the daily operation and management of the CMH Laboratory Department, ensuring quality assurance, technical performance, and personnel management. The Manager will monitor test results and equipment, while also ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of the CMH Laboratory Department
• Provide overall direction and management for the clinical lab
• Oversee operational planning, quality assurance, and technical performance
• Manage laboratory personnel
• Monitor test results, equipment, and laboratory information systems
• Perform, assist, and support functions within the laboratory as needed
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements affecting laboratory services
• Responsible for delivering customer service that exceeds patient expectations
• Ensure team members are creating a memorable and positive patient experience

Requirements

• 5+ years' Med Tech experience
• 2+ years' management/supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Demonstrated knowledge of clinical lab procedures, practices, and standards
• Knowledge of lab equipment, medical terminology, and safety requirements

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related field
• Minimum of five years' Med Tech experience, with at least two years in a management/supervisory role in a clinical laboratory setting.
