Manager in Training

About This Role

This is an entry-level management position responsible for inspiring and leading associates to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence at Mike's Carwash. The individual will contribute to associate development and facility maintenance while participating in a structured management training program.

Responsibilities

• Execute Mike's Purpose and deliver on the Team Member Promise, acting as a role model for associate behavior and performance
• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining wash quality, staffing, and professionally handling complaints and damages
• Assist the General Manager in accomplishing location goals and ensuring operations meet Mike's Carwash standards
• Develop associates through orientation, ongoing coaching, training, and documentation of performance
• Assist the General Manager with property and equipment maintenance, including thorough completion of OPEX checklists and maintaining cleanliness
• Participate in a structured management training program for personal development and continuous learning
• Comply with company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Ability to score 80% on Money Handling Skills Assessment without a calculator
• Ability to read product manuals, reports, and workplace rules in English
• Ability to speak with poise and confidence, dealing effectively with customers
• Ability to deal with practical problems and implement appropriate solutions
• Ability to work all scheduled shifts, including at least five days and 40 hours each week, plus every other weekend
• Ability to close at least two nights each week
• Ability to open one morning each week (Monday-Thursday only)
• Ability to work five days the week leading up to Christmas
• Ability to transfer between stores within market
