About This Role

Manage computer operations for classified infrastructures within the MS Targeting and Surveillance (T&S) Division, leading an integrated team of system administrators, network engineers, desktop technicians, and ISSOs/ISSMs. This role ensures compliance with government regulations and drives technology improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and organize a geographically dispersed team
  • Interface with T&S Division Industrial Security POC, CIDO Program Managers, and Division program managers
  • Integrate IA and IT team members into a cohesive, high performing team
  • Plan, execute, and report on organizational metrics to ensure 100% compliance with Government regulations (RMF, JSIG)
  • Focus on technology improvements, automations, and standardizations
  • Provide functional leadership to managers and staff, ensuring staffing, challenging assignments, and training opportunities
  • Collaborate with peers in MS Classified Solutions and across other NG Sectors to promote standards and information sharing

Requirements

  • Current DoD Secret level security clearance with closed investigation within 6 years or enrolled in DoD Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP/SAR) clearance
  • 5+ years of prior management and leadership experience
  • Awareness of IT infrastructure maintenance (networking or systems administration)
  • Awareness of process, analysis, coordination, security certification test, security documentation, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections, and periodic audits
  • Knowledge of implementation of required government policy (DAAPM, JSIG, ICDs) and experience with recommendations on process tailoring and document process activities
  • Knowledge of process to document results of Assessments and Accreditation activities, technical or coordination activity, preparing Body of Evidence (BoE), and updating Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M)

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree and 14 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 10 years of relevant experience; a High School diploma or equivalent and 16 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting the MS T&S division
  • Experience in an ISSO or ISSM role
  • Familiarity with enterprise datacenter architectures and technologies
  • Familiarity with virtualization and cloud computing technologies
  • Experience with implementation of government policies NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments
  • Experience with the formal Security Assessment process required by the company or government customer
  • Prior experience communicating with government customer program leadership and/or security oversight authorities
  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
