Maintenance Assistant

About This Role

This Maintenance Assistant role involves performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring the overall upkeep of a senior living facility. The assistant will work collaboratively with the maintenance team to provide exceptional customer service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and work orders
• Complete repairs, replacements, and installations as needed, ensuring that all work is completed to high-quality standards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members and property management to identify and address any maintenance concerns or deficiencies
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a maintenance role
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Basic computer skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a healthcare setting
