About This Role

This is an onsite, entry-level Mailroom Quality Control Operator role responsible for efficiently and accurately sorting incoming and outgoing mail in Lexington, KY. The primary objective is to inspect letters for Post Office standard address compliance and remove non-compliant items.

Responsibilities

• Sort and organize mail by type and destination
• Ensure mail adheres to shipping standards
• Use basic PC functions to track and manage mail items
• Navigate programs like Microsoft Teams and other internal tools
• Inspect batches of letters for Post Office standard address compliance
• Pull non-compliant letters and place them into the rejection bin

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge (PC navigation, using common software)
• Ability to follow detailed sorting procedures
• Dependable, organized, and able to stay focused
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
