About This Role

This role involves providing direct patient care as either a Medical Assistant or a Clinic Nurse within the INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Lake Pointe Primary Care team. Responsibilities include patient assessment, intervention, and documentation to ensure high-quality healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document patient condition information, including lab values, pain levels, education needs, nutritional status, and potential complications
• Contribute to the assessment and re-assessment of patients
• Monitor and document patient status
• Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions, potentially including medication administration
• Manage large call volumes while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette (Medical Assistant)
• Organize workflow to meet patient needs in a timely manner (Medical Assistant)
• Report changes in patient status to the physician and initiate new orders as directed (Clinic Nurse)
• Promote patient satisfaction and ensure patient confidentiality (Clinic Nurse)
• Perform Venipuncture, EKG, Waived Testing, Bone Density, X-ray, and other procedures as assigned (Clinic Nurse)
• Perform sterilization of equipment after procedures (Clinic Nurse)

Requirements

• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification/Registration OR 6 months of Clinic MA experience OR ability to complete INTEGRIS Health Caregiver Placement Program (CPP)
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (NCLEX) member state
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)
