This role involves guiding clients through critical moments and transformational initiatives by providing M&A Integration & Divestiture advisory services. It encompasses supporting the entire deal lifecycle from strategy and planning to execution, ensuring faultless transaction delivery.
Responsibilities
- Advise and aid clients in delivering faultless executions of M&A transactions across their enterprises
- Guide deal execution by aligning integration or divestiture strategies, Day 1 plans, and future-state goals to maximize value in complex market conditions
- Assist with synthesizing overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions
- Select the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing or complex financial analysis; and interpreting and reporting on outputs
- Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams, and identifying changes in scope
- Design deliverable content to precisely reflect the engagement contract and client needs, working alongside Managers
- Strive to improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results, serving as trusted advisors to corporate and private equity clients
Requirements
- 4+ years of M&A I&D or M&A I&D service delivery experience
- Bachelor's degree or MBA (with 2+ years relevant work experience for MBA holders)
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or MBA (required for candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience)
- 4+ years of M&A I&D or M&A I&D service delivery experience (2+ years with an MBA)
Nice to Have
- Recent experience working in a professional services consulting firm
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lead small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Ability to apply practical experience with communications, culture, and change management
- Ability to perform analysis and synthesize data into useful insights
- Eagerness to mentor junior staff
- An advanced degree
