M&A Integration & Divestiture Senior Consultant

About This Role

This role will guide clients through critical moments and transformational initiatives by providing end-to-end support and advisory services in M&A integration and divestiture. Senior Consultants will help clients execute M&A transactions, navigate complex market conditions, and maximize value.

Responsibilities

• Create value for clients by advising and aiding them to deliver faultless executions of M&A transactions
• Guide deal execution by aligning integration or divestiture strategies, Day 1 plans, and future-state goals
• Assist with synthesizing overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions
• Select the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing or complex financial analysis
• Interpret and report on outputs of analyses
• Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope
• Develop work plans for components of engagements
• Coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope
• Design deliverable content to precisely reflect the engagement contract and client needs
• Improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results

Requirements

• 4+ years of M&A I&D or M&A I&D service delivery experience
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years consulting and/or industry experience OR MBA with 2+ years relevant work experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years consulting and/or industry experience; alternatively, an MBA with 2+ years relevant work experience
• 4+ years of M&A I&D or M&A I&D service delivery experience

Nice to Have

• Recent experience working in a professional services consulting firm
• Ability to work independently; lead small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
• Ability to apply practical experience with communications, culture, and change management
• Ability to perform analysis and synthesize data into useful insights
• Eagerness to mentor junior staff
• An advanced degree
