The M&A Integration & Divestiture Senior Consultant advises and aids clients in the flawless execution of M&A transactions, ensuring alignment of integration or divestiture strategies with Day 1 plans and future-state goals. This role involves guiding deal execution, synthesizing overall strategy, and serving as a trusted advisor to corporate and private equity clients.
Responsibilities
- Advise and aid clients in delivering flawless executions of M&A transactions
- Guide deal execution by aligning integration or divestiture strategies, Day 1 plans, and future-state goals
- Assist with synthesizing overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions
- Select relevant tools/techniques for client requirements (e.g., business case, pricing, financial analysis)
- Interpret and report on outputs from analysis
- Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope
- Develop work plans for components of engagements
- Coordinate activities between workstreams
- Identify changes in scope
- Design deliverable content to reflect engagement contract and client needs
- Improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results
Requirements
- 4+ years of M&A I&D or M&A I&D service delivery experience
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years consulting and/or industry experience OR MBA with 2+ years relevant work experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or MBA
- 4+ years of M&A I&D or M&A I&D service delivery experience; or 4+ years consulting and/or industry experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 2+ years relevant work experience with an MBA
Nice to Have
- Recent experience working in a professional services consulting firm
- Ability to work independently; lead small teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to apply practical experience with communications, culture, and change management
- Ability to perform analysis and synthesize data into useful insights
- Eagerness to mentor junior staff
- An advanced degree
