About This Role

This role focuses on guiding clients through critical M&A transactions, ensuring faultless execution, aligning strategies, and maximizing value in complex market conditions. The Manager will lead engagements to design and implement creative business solutions for companies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify key client business issues and determine client needs using innovative approaches
  • Evaluate and validate analysis for M&A transactions
  • Develop recommendations for clients within the overall engagement context
  • Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables
  • Effectively manage teams and day-to-day client relationships to ensure exceptional performance
  • Define M&A strategies with senior executives to drive profitable growth
  • Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling for pre-deal and post-deal activities
  • Participate in and lead aspects of the proposal development process

Requirements

  • 6+ years of M&A or M&A service delivery experience
  • Experience participating in setting engagement objectives and scope
  • Experience designing deliverable content
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams to deliver M&A engagements across all phases
  • Experience providing corporate and private equity buyers with advisory services for M&A
  • Experience partnering with senior executives to define and align M&A strategy
  • Experience providing industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools
  • Experience participating in and leading aspects of the proposal development process
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA with relevant work experience
  • 6+ years of M&A or M&A service delivery experience, or 4+ years with an MBA

Nice to Have

  • Recent experience working in a professional services consulting firm
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Ability to apply practical experience with communications, culture, and change management
  • Ability to perform analysis and synthesize data into useful insights
  • Experience in financial analysis, business process reengineering, and operational performance improvement analysis
  • Experience with staff development and eagerness to mentor junior practitioners
  • An MBA or advanced degree
