Assist RNs, physicians, and other providers in delivering direct patient care within an ambulatory care setting, ensuring high-quality service meets Essentia Health's mission. Perform identified procedures with demonstrated competencies and care for patients across all age ranges.
Responsibilities
- Assist RN, Physician and other providers in direct patient care
- Perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated
- Care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly
Requirements
- Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR Completion of a Medical Assistant Program, with certification required within one year of hire (must pass certification within two attempts)
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the relevant state
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months
Qualifications
- Education as required for licensure.
