Loader Operator

About This Role

Operate a front-end loader to move and load aggregate materials onto vendor and inter-company haul trucks. Maintain stockpiles and ensure proper material handling for asphalt and concrete plants.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Operate front-end loader to lift and transport raw material
• Maintain raw materials in different stockpiles
• Verify and maintain storage of aggregate amount in stockpiles
• Maintain the daily cleanliness of the loader
• Perform daily pre-shifts on the loader and complete forms
• Fuel and grease the loader daily
• Receive and maintain recycled incoming materials and stockpiles
• Expeditiously load trucks needing aggregates and recycled aggregates

Requirements

• 1-2 years of related experience
• Current North Carolina Driver’s License
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• One (1) to two (2) years of related experience required
