As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, stocking, and maintaining high-quality cuisine for guests, ensuring consistency and perfection in every dish. You will work in a team-oriented environment, maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation to deliver an unforgettable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, stock, and maintain high-quality cuisine for guests, adhering to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area, including tables, shelves, cooking equipment, and refrigeration equipment, in compliance with DHEC regulations
- Properly close the kitchen by following the closing checklist for kitchen stations and assisting others in kitchen closing tasks
- Promptly report all product shortages, equipment problems, or food quality issues to the Chef
Requirements
- Minimum two years’ experience in kitchen preparation and line cook experience
- Ability to speak, read, and understand basic cooking directions
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests
- Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
