Efficiently prepare hot food products and ensure high quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment as a Line Cook for an all-day brunch concept.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food products
- Prepare and portion food prior to cooking
- Perform duties in food and final plate preparation, including plating and garnishing
- Prepare appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates
- Follow Ruby Standards and recipes consistently
- Comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
- Ability to follow Ruby Standards and recipes consistently
- Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house staff
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 10 hours)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
