About This Role

This Line Cook role involves accurately and efficiently preparing food for various meal periods and catered events, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill prep lists, tasks, and food preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Ensure kitchen organization and cleanliness for a safe environment
  • Follow Workplace Safety, Food Safety, and HACCP guidelines, policies, and SOPs daily
  • Operate large volume culinary equipment safely, including slicers, mixers, food processors, blenders, and choppers
  • Clock in and out for workday and breaks
  • Provide the highest quality of service in accordance with company and client standards
  • Utilize food preparation procedures as per federal, state, and local guidelines
  • Execute NetMenu recipe preparation of food items as directed by production sheets or chefs
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment following regulatory rules and procedures
  • Notify management of ingredient discrepancies, food/equipment safety issues, or other matters requiring attention
  • Attend all daily meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year professional cooking experience or education equivalent
  • Ability to work safely with large volume culinary equipment
