About This Role

The Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for developing and overseeing engaging activity programs for residents, ensuring a variety of activities that stimulate mind, body, and spirit. This role involves planning monthly calendars, training staff and volunteers, and coordinating transportation for events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly life enrichment calendars tailored to residents' physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs
  • Oversee service plans and conduct personal interviews with residents to understand preferences and abilities
  • Train all staff involved in life enrichment programs
  • Maintain and supervise a volunteer program
  • Coordinate and provide transportation for residents to and from outside events using company vehicles
  • Monitor budget, equipment, and supplies to ensure successful activity schedule completion
  • Capture and share photos/videos of residence activities on approved platforms
  • Assist the Sales Director with planning and delivering community events
  • Design physical layouts and decorations for activities and displays
  • Review activity program to ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations

Requirements

  • 1 year of activity planning or event planning experience
  • Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles/buses
  • Current/valid driver's license
  • Driving record that meets company insurance requirements
  • Age 25 years or older to meet company insurance requirements

Qualifications

  • 1 year of activity planning or event planning experience

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in leading volunteers and supervising staff
  • Experience working with older adults
