Life Enrichment Assistant

About This Role

The Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant will plan and execute engaging activities to make a difference in the lives of residents. This role involves assisting with activity planning, budgeting, coordination, and transportation of residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Help to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g., Memory Care, specific activity) as assigned
• Coordinate the transportation of residents to and from outside events, including driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Current, valid driver’s license
• Driving record (MVR) meets company insurance requirements
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles

Nice to Have

• Experience working with seniors, event planning, or lesson planning
• Demonstrated creative skills
