Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN)

About This Role

Mills Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate and motivated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver direct and individualized nursing care to patients. This role is crucial in shaping the resident experience through skilled clinical care, strong communication, and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on scientific nursing principles
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications, reporting adverse reactions
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting and recording electronic displays
• Initiate corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology
• Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during examination and treatment of patients
• Respond to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol
• Participate in discharge planning
• Utilize time management skills
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely

Requirements
