Licensed Practical Nurse

About This Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse will administer and record vaccines, document patient information, and perform clinical office procedures for Albany Family Medicine. This full-time role involves supporting patient flow and processing prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations and information into patient records.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visits based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood).
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations).
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
