Licensed Practical Nurse

About This Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse will administer and record vaccines, document patient information, and perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider at Community Care Obstetrics and Gynecology. This full-time role contributes to timely patient flow and accurate patient record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner
• Maintain timely patient flow
• Prepare patient for visit based on office/provider requirements
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations)
• Process patient prescriptions
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions
