About This Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse at Albany Family Medicine will provide essential patient care, administer vaccines, and perform clinical procedures to ensure timely patient flow and accurate record-keeping. This full-time role supports providers in delivering comprehensive healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients and other information into patient records accurately and timely.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patients for visits based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (e.g., urine, blood) from patients as directed.
• Perform accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (e.g., PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration, immunizations).
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Requirements

• Current LPN license
