About This Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide direct patient care at Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, performing clinical procedures and documenting patient information. This full-time role involves administering vaccines, processing prescriptions, and discussing test results under provider guidance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations and patient information into records.
• Maintain timely patient flow and prepare patients for visits.
• Obtain specimens (urine, blood, etc.) as directed by the provider.
• Perform clinical office procedures like PFT, EKG, nebulizer, and medication administration.
• Accurately and timely enter orders into the lab system.
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.
