Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

About This Role

Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of Elderwood at Ticonderoga as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, ensuring exceptional resident care, operational excellence, and a positive collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee facility operational activities
• Promote and guide initiatives to improve facility operations to meet goals and objectives
• Lead and inspire staff to achieve desired results through daily management and training
• Ensure the provision of quality health care and daily living services in conformance with state and federal laws
• Maintain a safe, sanitary and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, volunteers, and employees
• Ensure resident census remains at capacity and control costs for financial stability
• Provide payroll, billing, and management information to the central office
• Encourage staff involvement, customer focus, and leadership initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a major in health or related field
• Valid state Nursing Home license (LNHA)
• Minimum of three years' experience in management, preferably a nursing home operation
• Qualities of leadership, dependability, integrity, and organizational ability
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
• Interest in the field of health care, particularly the needs of the geriatric population
• Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a major in health or related field
• Minimum of three years' experience in management, preferably a nursing home operation
