Provide comprehensive legal administrative support to attorneys in a litigation law firm focusing on Labor and Employment law. This role involves drafting correspondence, managing court filings, scheduling, and maintaining attorney calendars.
Responsibilities
- Draft correspondence
- Proofread and format documents
- File pleadings with State and Federal courts
- Schedule depositions
- Maintain files
- Arrange travel
- Conduct research
- Prepare expense reports
- Maintain attorney calendars
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Familiarity with Labor and Employment fields of Law
- Strong understanding of Oregon and Washington State and Federal court rules and procedures
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
- Proficient in formatting briefs and generating Table of Contents and Table of Authorities in Word
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Exceptional organizational skills
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a legal assistant role

- Experience with iManage
- Experience with CourtAlert
