About This Role

This role involves executing property marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy and revenue targets, acting as a primary contact for prospective residents. The Sales Consultant will guide residents through the leasing process and proactively manage lease renewals to ensure resident satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sales and leasing activities to achieve property revenue and occupancy goals, including prospect qualification, property tours, application processing, and lease preparation.
  • Collect all pertinent information from prospective residents at move-in and record as appropriate.
  • Stay informed about current market and competitor conditions and collaborate on marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
  • Design and execute marketing activities and events to drive traffic to the property, including resident referral and employer outreach programs.
  • Utilize property management software to track availability, record leasing activities, and manage resident/prospect data.
  • Ensure property and show units meet company show quality standards through daily inspections and merchandising.
  • Follow-up with prospects and new residents within 24 hours to ensure satisfaction and finalize leasing decisions.
  • Execute and perform activities in support of the property's lease renewal program, including preparing renewal letters and meeting with residents.
  • Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client/owner concerns, taking prompt action to solve problems.
  • Demonstrate customer service skills by treating all individuals with respect, answering questions, and responding to complaints.
  • Attend community and networking events, participate in outreach marketing efforts to drive traffic and generate new business leads.
  • Complete various financial, administrative, and other reports, and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Assist Lifestyle Coordinator by attending and supporting event setup as required.
