Leasing Consultant

About This Role

This Leasing Consultant role is responsible for executing property marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. The consultant will serve as a key point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process and supporting resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve property revenue and occupancy goals
• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct property tours, and show apartment homes
• Process applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks
• Prepare lease and move-in packages, ensuring smooth resident move-in and lease signing
• Update market surveys to stay informed about current market and competitor conditions
• Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans and goals to sustain occupancy
• Design and execute marketing activities and events to create and drive traffic to the property
• Use on-site property management software (Entrata, Yardi) to track availability and manage resident data
• Ensure that the property and show units meet company standards for show quality
• Execute and perform activities in support of the property’s lease renewal program
