Lead a cross-functional team to develop and execute the Supply Chain strategy and material plan for assigned programs within the L3Harris Maritime team. This role serves as a key interface between Supply Chain and various internal and external stakeholders, focusing on program material management, financial oversight, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Supply Chain and internal and external customers
- Develop the Material Management Plan and execute Supply Chain strategies to support the program lifecycle
- Establish and maintain open channels of communication between the Supply Chain and Program teams
- Manage the on-time or early completion of all material and subcontract program milestones and deliverables
- Partner cross-functionally to create a common schedule-based Material Requirements Plan (MRP)
- Develop and manage Supply Chain Risks & Opportunities, communicating critical issues with solution-focused actions
- Support compliance with all internal policies and external laws and regulations
- Work with the Supply Chain team to develop and support strategic supplier relationships
- Responsible for all material specific guidance in support of proposal activities and make/buy decisions
- Coordinate Subcontracts involvement with requirements development and review Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW)
- Manage the material financial budget and forecasts for assigned programs
- Serve as the Program’s Material Cost Account Manager (CAM) if not separately allocated
- Analyze key performance indicators and identify challenged areas, championing continued improvements
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Active DoD Secret clearance required and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance
- Strong project management skills
- Outstanding communication (both verbal and written), negotiation, organizational, and leadership skills
- Strong financial/data analytic skills
- Capable of managing in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a focus on problem resolution and process improvement
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)
- Experience with SAP/Costpoint and material processes
- Experience in Supply Chain and/or Program Management execution across a Product Life Cycle (Proposals, Gates, SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR, etc.)
- Earned Value Management experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- 7+ years of prior related experience with a Graduate Degree, or 9+ years with a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain and/or Program Management execution across a Product Life Cycle.
Nice to Have
- Recent experience in Military and Commercial Aviation/Aerospace product development and production
- Previous Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
- PMP certification
- Ability to travel
- Experience assessing supplier statements of work (SSOW) and providing strategic insights
- Understanding of Integrated Product Team (IPT)/Cross-functional teams, including leading an IPT team
- Working knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, ITAR
