Lead Salesforce Developer

About This Role

This Lead Salesforce Developer role involves designing and developing custom Salesforce applications, supporting existing ones, and integrating them with other systems. You will collaborate with stakeholders, ensure compliance with security standards, and support the Salesforce platform across Sales, Marketing, and Service.

Responsibilities

• Create custom solutions by designing and developing Salesforce applications
• Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing and deployment
• Support, maintain and improve the working of existing Salesforce applications for optimal functionality
• Create and maintain integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other developers to identify and implement improvements for the system
• Ensure compliance with security and development standards of Salesforce
• Maintain tight controls for change management within the platforms, utilizing strict software development practices
• Coordinate with Salesforce Lead to design, implement changes and support the Salesforce platform for Sales, Marketing, and service
• Assist with solution design and implementation of Salesforce configurations based upon business requirements
• Support Salesforce security and data integrity across the platform

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Apex coding
• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I or II, App Builder, Administrator)
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
• Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools
• Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Apex coding
