The Lead, Marketing & Communications will develop and assess strategic plans for Deloitte's US national sponsorship portfolio, focusing on sports sponsorships. This role involves portfolio strategy, insights and measurement, and cross-sponsorship activation to drive brand objectives and deepen client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Support ongoing assessment of Deloitte's current and future sponsorship investments
- Develop evaluations and valuations of new opportunities
- Support negotiation process of new opportunities and renewals
- Build, maintain, monitor and optimize ongoing sponsorship insights
- Collaborate closely with Senior Manager, property leads and other stakeholders on overall sponsorship measurement and reporting
- Manage key existing activations that run across multiple sponsorships
- Develop and activate new cross-sponsorship strategic campaigns, tactics & initiatives
- Work with sponsorship-specific team members to develop overarching activation strategy for the year or season
- Support overall onboarding and initial activation planning and production for net new sponsorships
- Lead additional projects and initiatives and support ongoing leadership requests
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in sports or sponsorships
- Proven experience in strategic marketing, project management, and integrated marketing
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Passion for sponsorship, brand, and marketing disciplines
- Strong writing and collaboration skills
- Passion for sports and understanding of sports marketing
- High level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities
- Ability to work in a virtual environment
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sports or sponsorships
