About This Role

Lead marketing and communications efforts for Deloitte's US sponsorship portfolio, developing strategies and assessing opportunities to drive business objectives through impactful brand messaging and client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing assessment of Deloitte's current and future sponsorship investments
  • Develop evaluations and valuations of new sponsorship opportunities
  • Perform white space analysis and maintain database of inquiries
  • Support negotiation processes for new opportunities and renewals, including asset identification
  • Build, maintain, monitor, and optimize ongoing sponsorship insights to inform activation strategy
  • Collaborate with Senior Manager and property leads on overall sponsorship measurement and reporting
  • Manage key existing activations across multiple sponsorships (e.g., sports AOI newsletters)
  • Maintain ongoing calendar of full sponsorship activation, identifying areas of saturation and opportunity
  • Develop and activate new cross-sponsorship strategic campaigns, tactics & initiatives
  • Work with Sponsorship Activation & Portfolio Strategy Leader to develop overarching activation strategy for various sports sponsorships
  • Support onboarding and initial activation planning and production for net new sponsorships
  • Lead additional ad hoc projects and initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sports or sponsorships
  • Proven experience in strategic marketing, project management, and integrated marketing
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Passion for sponsorship, brand, and marketing disciplines
  • Strong writing and collaboration skills
  • Passion for sports and understanding of sports marketing
  • High level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple and complex threads of work
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sports or sponsorships
