Lead Maintenance Technician

About This Role

This position performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet Company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests for service and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose the source or cause of defects or problems and make repairs
• Complete the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins
• Track inventory used, return unused items, and notify supervisor about re-ordering needs
• Complete documentation and other paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion
• Assist in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing, and general cleaning
• Support cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts
• Comply with Greystar’s safety and risk-management policies
