Laborer

About This Role

Perform various manual labor tasks to maintain the work yard for Pugmill operations, assist with heavy maintenance and equipment upkeep, and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Shovel, lift, pull, carry, and perform other manual labor tasks to maintain the work yard for Pugmill operations
• Water yard throughout the workday to minimize dust levels
• Assist in heavy maintenance jobs and equipment maintenance tasks, including greasing and inspection
• Clean and maintain an orderly work area throughout the day, and monitor the site to report safety issues
• Clean job site offices

Requirements

• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time at conveyor belt operation
• Ability to climb heights of 75 feet on a regular basis
• Ability to lift, carry, and/or pull 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to work in a dusty, loud noise environment
• Required to wear safety equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, steel-toed boots, ear plugs, respirator, and gloves
