Industrial Maintenance Tech

About This Role

This role involves performing maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and heavy diesel equipment, ensuring their functionality and reliability within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment such as motors, conveyors, mechanical components, and electrical components
• Perform basic troubleshooting for single-phase and 240v systems
• Perform complex repairs on production equipment motors and mechanical components, including pneumatics and hydraulics
• Perform troubleshooting for 3-phase systems and equipment up to 480v
• May tack weld (stick or MIG) for minor repairs
• Perform major and minor repairs on heavy diesel equipment and trucks
• Overhaul/rebuild engines and transmissions
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks on equipment, including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components and identify necessary repairs
• Keep logs of work and report any issues

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or similar role
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components of heavy equipment and trucks
• Familiarity with electrical systems, including single-phase and 3-phase circuits
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, or proven work experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Nice to Have

• Welding experience (stick or MIG) is a plus
