About This Role

The Kitchen Staff at City Barbeque prepares smoked meats, crafts sides from scratch, and maintains food preparation and sanitation standards. Team members work in roles such as Pits, Boards, Prep, and Dishwashing, contributing to a genuine backyard hospitality atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and smoke meats (Pits)
• Work as a line cook or meat cutter (Boards)
• Prepare sides and desserts from scratch (Prep)
• Wash dishes and perform utility tasks (Dishwasher)
• Provide great backyard hospitality for guests
• Work in a fast and independent manner
• Cross-train and work multiple stations
• Consistently follow proper recipes and procedures
• Maintain high standards for food preparation and sanitation
• Contribute to the team by taking initiative and helping others
• Arrive on time for each shift and practice proper time reporting
• Complete hot food prep assignments following recipes and sanitation guidelines
• Work collaboratively to prepare takeout and catering orders in a timely fashion
• Follow station checklists and cleaning lists consistently and thoroughly
• Provide a positive attitude when interacting with teammates and guests
