About This Role

As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will contribute to the design of civil engineering components for Federal projects, including site development for US military facilities, within a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess site features and create site layouts
  • Design utilities systems and pavements
  • Develop grading and drainage plans
  • Design stormwater management facilities
  • Perform erosion control design
  • Create 3D models using Civil3D software for site work surfaces and underground utilities
  • Prepare engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform material take-offs for estimating
  • Assist with services during construction, including review and approval of contractor submittal documents
  • Research and implement regulatory and permitting requirements

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience on site development projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) designation or Engineer Intern (EI) certification from any US state
  • Background in plan production and project execution
  • AutoCAD Civil3D design experience including development of 3D site models
  • United States Citizen

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • At least 2 years of experience on site development projects

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Federal clients and projects
