Journeyman Electrician

About This Role

This Electrical Journeyman role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, customer-friendly electrical installations, particularly for new well sites and production facility electrification in the oil and gas industry. The role involves direct communication with the Superintendent and team members to guarantee projects meet deadlines and adhere to electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Conform to company and customer safety procedures
• Participate in project safety meetings
• Complete projects on time
• Work with customer project lead as necessary
• Maintain daily jobsite attendance
• Maintain required crew productivity levels
• Coordinate project requirements as needed
• Provide call-out support if required
• Handle miscellaneous project specific requests

Requirements

• Possess Journeyman License according to state requirements
• Have 4 years or more electrical service work experience
• Demonstrate working knowledge of electrical codes
• Possess the ability to understand and explain schematics and technical manuals
• Ability to travel
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Two-year or trade degree in related field preferred
• 4 years or more electrical service work experience
