Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment as a licensed Journeyman Electrician for a government facility. Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and troubleshoot electrical issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform all electrical trade functions necessary to install, maintain electrical systems
- Inspect, maintain, clean, repair, test and adjust various electrical equipment including motors, switchgear, circuit breakers, and lighting circuits
- Perform preventative maintenance and service calls
- Perform inspections
- Supervise subcontractors
- Troubleshoot electrical issues
Requirements
- Current Journeyman Electrician License (DC or MD)
- Ability to obtain an L Level Security Clearance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician
- General knowledge of motors, switchgear, emergency generation, UPS, fire, HVAC, and related electrical building systems
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work the schedule of Wednesday - Friday 3pm - 11pm
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician
