The Intern - Long-Term Support Services (LTSS) position supports clinical services operations, care coordination, and advocacy within UnitedHealthcare's LTSS team. This remote role involves contributing to day-to-day operations and assisting with various projects.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations of the LTSS team
- Effectively communicate with internal teams to achieve departmental goals
- Assist with projects including data processing, independent research, member outreach and communications, and data analysis
- Utilize multiple systems (Smartsheet, medical records systems, Microsoft Office) to complete tasks
- Participate in supporting care coordination teams with administrative duties and member support
- Follow established procedures for routine tasks
- Contribute to a team environment, assisting others and communicating effectively
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Pursuing or holding certification in Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Human Services or related fields
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Limited work experience required; work on simple tasks using established procedures.
