Intern - Long Term Support Services (LTSS)

About This Role

The Intern - Long-Term Support Services (LTSS) position supports clinical services operations, care coordination, and advocacy within UnitedHealthcare's LTSS team. This remote role involves contributing to day-to-day operations and assisting with various projects.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of the LTSS team
• Effectively communicate with internal teams to achieve departmental goals
• Assist with projects including data processing, independent research, member outreach and communications, and data analysis
• Utilize multiple systems (Smartsheet, medical records systems, Microsoft Office) to complete tasks
• Participate in supporting care coordination teams with administrative duties and member support
• Follow established procedures for routine tasks
• Contribute to a team environment, assisting others and communicating effectively

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Pursuing or holding certification in Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Human Services or related fields

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Limited work experience required; work on simple tasks using established procedures.
