Bilingual (English/Tagalog) Broker Agent Service Specialist

About This Role

Provide primary support to consumers and members with specific language needs, handling inbound and occasional outbound calls as a Broker Agent Service Specialist. Educate Group Retiree consumers on custom plan benefits and support enrollment processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary support for consumers and members needing in-language support (Tagalog)
• Support inbound call volume with potential for occasional outbound for consumers and members
• Provide education during Q3 and Q4 for Group Retiree inbound call volume
• Uptrain to support Group Retiree prospective member chats through LivePerson technology and complete enrollment applications
• Flexibly adapt to special projects/campaigns to support year-round business needs
• Use knowledge of Medicare product portfolio to assess needs and explain product differences
• Accurately and thoroughly complete and submit required documentation consistent with Medicare requirements
• Meet and maintain requirements for agent licensure, appointments, and annual product certification

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED OR 6+ months of customer service/sales experience
• Ability to obtain health insurance license within 6 months of starting employment
• Intermediate proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English and Tagalog
• Flexibility to work assigned shift between 7am-10pm CST, Monday-Friday

• Entry level (6+ months of customer service/sales experience acceptable)
