St. Luke's Health System is seeking a motivated cybersecurity intern to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity, healthcare operations, and vulnerability management. The intern will report to the Office of the CISO and interact with cybersecurity teams to learn about protection, defense, and risk processes, as well as specialized security tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide security alert and incident triage support via SIEM and EDR solutions
- Contribute to vulnerability management casework by validating, documenting, tracking findings, and supporting remediation coordination
- Assist in tuning SIEM rules by identifying patterns, testing logic refinements, and reducing false positives
- Partake in various security activities including endpoint protection, access management, data protection, and risk detection and resolution
