Intermediate Education Specialist (Ambulatory, Physician Offices)

About This Role

This role involves designing, building, maintaining, and evaluating training curricula and environments for Epic modules. The specialist will also document operational workflows and oversee user training methodologies for ambulatory and physician offices.

Responsibilities

• Create and document training methodology for new functionality and Epic modules
• Participate in the design and documentation of operational workflows to meet organizational objectives
• Build and maintain all Epic training environments for use in classes across the organization
• Work with users to personalize or customize Epic functionality to improve efficiency and satisfaction
• Provide credential training courses and oversee all aspects of user training
• Complete testing of software applications using established standards and protocols
• Complete assigned goals

Requirements

• 5 years work experience or equivalent combination of experience and education in related field
• Knowledge and understanding of departmental workflow/processes
• Completion of Epic certification within 90 days of completing training
• Appropriate certifications as they apply to specialized area of expertise
• Strong written and communication skills

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited institution or experience as listed; completion of Epic certification within 90 days of completing training
• 5 years work experience or equivalent combination of experience and education in related field. Knowledge and understanding of department workflow/processes.
