The Integration Engineer/Developer will design, build, and manage Epic Bridges and InterSystem interfaces, specifically focusing on HL7 integrations for healthcare applications. This role involves troubleshooting, supporting, and optimizing patient access applications, providing outstanding client service.
Responsibilities
- Individually contribute to work and mentor junior team members
- Liaise with onsite/offshore teams to understand Bridges functional requirements
- Work on EPIC Bridges (Certified) and InterSystem for HL7 integrations inbound and outbound to Epic between applications and 3rd parties
- Participate in daily calls/scrum meetings and build weekly status reports
- Resolve issues or incidents reported by end users and escalate quality issues or risks
- Responsible for all phases of patient access application support and optimization including design, build, test, and maintenance
- Provide outstanding client service and contribute to utilizing information technology to improve patient care
- Troubleshoot problems, address questions from users, and provide on-call support on a rotating basis
- Make recommendations, review and test changes, enhancements, and each new release as assigned
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in IT systems administration
- Experience in designing, building, and managing interfaces using the InterSystems integration engine
- Prior experience in the Healthcare Industry
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of TCL and Xlate
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in IT systems administration

- Experience in Azure DevOps
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
