The Integration Engineer/Developer will provide individual contributions and mentor junior team members as an experienced Epic Bridges Integration Developer. This role involves liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand Bridges functional requirements and ensuring seamless integration within patient access applications.
Responsibilities
- Work on EPIC Bridges (Certified) and InterSystem with ability to work on HL7 integrations inbound and outbound to Epic between all applications and 3rd parties
- Map data for new clinics/hospitals
- Participate in daily calls/scrum meetings and build weekly status reports for leadership review
- Resolve issues or incidents reported by end users and escalate quality issues or risks
- Provide support for all phases of patient access application support and optimization including design, build, test, and maintenance
- Provide outstanding client service and contribute to improving patient care through information technology
- Troubleshoot problems, address user questions, and provide on-call support on a rotating basis
- Make recommendations, review and test changes, enhancements, and each new release as assigned
Requirements
- EPIC Bridges certifications
- 6+ years of experience in IT systems administration
- Experience in designing, building, and managing interfaces using the InterSystems integration engine
- Prior experience working in the Healthcare Industry
- Knowledge of TCL and Xlate
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in IT systems administration

- Experience in Azure DevOps
- Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
- Ability to operate independently or with minimum supervision
