Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, performing legal research, drafting documents, and handling discovery and depositions for our growing firm.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, from initial claim evaluation to final resolution
- Conduct thorough legal and factual research, and develop effective defense strategies for clients
- Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies
- Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience
- 2+ years of insurance defense experience
- Previous deposition experience
- Previous premises liability experience
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in New Jersey
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- 4+ years of experience, with 2+ years in insurance defense
