Instructor/Facilitator Independent Contractor

About This Role

Chi-Chack LLC is seeking an Instructor/Facilitator for an Independent Contractor position. This role will support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) by preparing and presenting blocks of instruction and participating in discussions for the Fundamentals of Strategic Arms Control Course.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present blocks of instruction on the history of strategic arms control treaties and agreements.
• Provide instruction on selected topics/issues pertaining to INF, START, and New START.
• Offer expert perspective on arms control concepts, national security priorities, and relevant treaties.
• Participate in panel discussions on relevant arms control treaties, agreements, and risk reduction measures.
• Provide draft briefings for government approval 21 days prior to class start date.
• Deliver briefings and/or student materials to the OB-OSP Course Manager 15 days prior to class start date.

Requirements

• In-depth experience with negotiating and/or implementing bilateral arms control agreements and treaties missions.
• Experience contributing to arms control policy formation.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience with negotiating and/or implementing bilateral arms control agreements and treaties missions either as a member of on-site teams or as a member of a negotiating body. Experience contributing to the formation of arms control policy through professional engagements.
