Design and develop educational products that address real-world challenges by applying principles of adult learning and instructional design processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-quality learning solutions and support content iteration.
Responsibilities
- Apply principles of adult learning and instructional design processes (ADDIE) to create educational products
- Design and develop face-to-face classroom, eLearning, blended designs, non-linear designs, self-development designs, multiple module course curricula, action learning, and media-based learning
- Participate in needs analysis and interact with subject matter experts to inform educational product design and development
- Generate layout of participant and facilitator guides, eLearning content, and blended learning solutions through storyboarding and authoring
- Design content and associated metrics that optimize learning
- Partner with department members to develop training deliverables (written materials, eLearning, scripts)
- Collaborate with graphic design and video personnel to create high-quality media
- Test learning designs and iterate content to align with learner needs
- Review and test new and revised curriculum offerings from other team members, providing feedback and suggestions
- Assist with quality control, proofreading, and distribution of courseware
- Cultivate internal relationships for outreach and education programming, coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Partner with customers and subject matter experts to analyze and document educational outcomes and learning objectives
- Maintain a cooperative working relationship with employees, contractors, visitors, and guests
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in development of educational materials
- US Citizen, GC Holder, or Authorized to Work in the US
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in development of educational materials
Nice to Have
- Master's degree
- Experience with agricultural education
